Superior Pilates is proud to have Keith Bayer leading meditation classes and workshops at the studio.

Keith has been teaching meditation and relaxation for eight years in a variety of settings from the East Bank Club to Evanston Northwestern Healthcare’s hospital programs.

Having spent 10 years as a writer in advertising, Keith understands the everyday stresses of a hardworking professional. As such, he specializes in teaching meditation as a way to help his students gain a better understanding of themselves as well as powerful tools for stress reduction.

He has tailored his style of teaching to demystify the concepts of meditation. He believes that mediation should be taught in a straightforward manner accessible to anyone.

His experience and training as a psychotherapist has given him in-depth knowledge of the cardiovascular and central nervous systems. As such, he incorporates a significant amount of breath-coaching into his teaching style.

His teachers and influences include Don Sloan, Ph.D.,
Lama Lobsang Palden, Jon Kabat-Zinn, Sakyong Mipham Rinpoch, and Jack Kornfield.
